The Department of State Services, DSS has denied inviting musicians for interrogation over social media comments, which they viewed were against President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government.

It was learnt that Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy and renowned singer, Tiwa Savage were alleged to have been invited by the DSS for quiz over anti-Buhari comments.

But the agency retorted saying that it never invited any musicians for questioning.

Spokesman for the DSS, Peter Afunnaya, refuted the allegation thus: “We didn’t invite any musician.”

Meanwhile, the Police Public Relations Officer in Lagos State, SP Bala Elkana, also denied the allegation, noting that the command only invited Yemi Alade and Waje.

“Zubairu Muazu, who was said to have invited the singers, ‘ceased being CP more than 10 months ago.’”

“The present CP is Hakeem Odumosu, who became Lagos CP in November, about a year ago.  Zubairu Muazu has even retired from service; he retired as an AIG. I’m not aware of any invitation.”
