Mr Job Alawari-Kei, a 300-level student of the Department of Petroleum and Gas Engineering, Federal University of Otuoke (FUO), Bayelsa State, has reportedly died from an Illicit drug overdose.

The deceased student, popularly known as Alas, aged 19, reportedly collapsed and died after taking an Illicit drug known in local parlance as Colos.

According to some students on the campus, the drug (Colos) is mainly taken among youths involved in Internet fraud, which is commonly known as ‘Yahoo Yahoo’ in Nigeria.

A student, who pleaded anonymity, claimed that the deceased Alawari-Kei was celebrating a recent breakthrough on an Internet deal with his friends when he allegedly consumed the illicit drug that killed him.
