NAFDAC Director-General bows out as Acting DG takes over

Professor Mojisola Adeyeye, on Thursday bowed out as the Director General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, after getting to mandatory retirement age in the service and tenure expiration.

The agency’s Director of Human Resources Management, Oboli A.U. announced this in a leaked internal memo dated November Thursday 17.

The memo notified all the directors of the agency’s various units and departments stating that Monica Eimunjeze, has been appointed acting Director-General effective November 12, 2022.

“The management is in receipt of a letter appointing Dr Monica Eimunjeze as the Acting Director General NAFDAC with effect from 12th November, 2022.

“I am therefore directed to bring this development to you for information and guidance,” the leaked memo, with reference number NAFDAC/ADM/SM/075, read in part.
