Senator Dino Melaye has warned African leaders against accepting COVID-19 vaccine developed by the West, describing it as a “killer.”
Melaye in a video shared on Wednesday on social media insinuated that those, who took the vaccine died three days after.
He said: “I am calling on all Africans, especially Nigerians, not to accept the use of any vaccine for now.
“For 100 years we couldn’t find a vaccine for cancer. For over 40 years we are yet to find a vaccine for HIV/AIDS. For over another 100 years, research has been going on on finding a vaccine for diabetes, we are yet to find vaccine.
“How is it possible on earth that in one year you found a vaccine for COVID-19?” he asked.
Melaye noted: “An intelligence gathering has revealed that some of those, who took that vaccine died within three days.”
He, however, called on the minister of health to discontinue talks to get the vaccine to Nigeria by January 2021.
According to him, he would hold the Federal Government responsible if anyone dies after taking the vaccine.
