Unknown assailants kill ACP with axe in Calabar

Unknown assailants on Wednesday morning axed an Assistant Commissioner of Police, Egbe Edum, death in Calabar, Cross River State.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Cross River State Command, Irene Ugbo, has said.
According to Ugbo, the deceased, who came into the state to see his family, was killed with an axe on Murtala Mohammed Highway.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the deceased was the commander of the Police Mobile Force Squadron 73 in Magumeri, Borno.
