BREAKING: Edo State House of Assembly sacks Speaker

The Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly, Hon Frank Okiye, Esan North East Constituency (1) has been impeached.
This is happening barely two weeks after the governor, Godwin Obaseki won a re-election to rule the state for another four years.
Members of the House have immediately voted Hon Marcus Onobun from Esan West Constituency as the new Speaker.
