Tinubu disowns Osinbajo over 2023 presidential declaration, says he’s not my son
The National leader of All Progressive Congress, APC, on Monday, disowned his political godson, the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
Reacting to the declaration of the Vice President to contest the 2023 Presidential election, under the platform of All Progressive Congress, Tinubu, disowned his one-time political associate and godson, stating that “he has no son grown enough to declare for Presidency”.
Tinubu told Channels Television after his meeting with the Governors Forum of the party, as part of his consultations before declaring his intentions.
The Asiwaju had earlier intimated the President of his “life ambition” to rule Nigeria.
Osinbajo declared his interest to contest the Presidential ticket of APC, after meeting with the APC Governors’ Forum on Sunday.

The Vice President stated that he is the best candidate having garnered vast experience as vice president to President Mohammadu Buhari in the past seven years.
He believed that seven years of tutelage under Buhari are enough experiences and insight to provide leadership in the country.
Osinbajo’s official declaration on Monday has pitched him against APC supporters of Tinubu whose supporters have attacked the Vice President.
