2023 Presidency: A’Ibom stakeholders assemble volunteers for Tinubu

Joseph Atainyang, Uyo

Political forces under the auspices of Akwa Ibom Stakeholders for Asiwaju Tinubu (AKISAT) have assembled volunteers to drive the vision of making Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2023.

The group, in a meeting on Wednesday in Uyo, renewed its political union, saying Tinubu who is the national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) was the only Nigerian alive with the capacity to save the country from disintegration.

Speaking at the meeting, the stakeholders observed that as an all-time political champion, who stood against injustices during his time as governor of Lagos State, the Jagaban of Lagos was undoubtedly a detribalised and nationalist who can turn human and material resources to produce results.

According to them, Nigeria would be plunged into a safety risk, if left in the hands of myopic politicians, who are jostling for the high office but without tested and proven integrity.

They reasoned that they were “driven by the intrinsic and uncommon leadership qualities of Asiwaju Tinubu, who was known for his rare sense of talent hunting, exemplary reward for loyalty and strong disregard to ethno-religious sentiments.”

The assembly, which is volunteer-based and driven by common-ownership, is a demonstrated commitment of experienced and tested politicians across all diversities in Akwa Ibom State.

Present at the meeting were the Convener and Dean of AKISAT Eseme Eyiboh who a former two-term House Member, Eket Federal Constituency; Professor of Development Economy and former Chairman, APC 2019 Youths and Mobilization Committee, Prof. Chris Ekong; former Member Abak Federal Constituency, Obong Ekperikpe Ekpo; and former ACN Chairman, Akwa Ibom State, Aniekan Willie Akpan.

Others were a financial venture specialist & former House of Representatives aspirant, Chief Robinson Edumoh; former member, Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Edwin Joseph; a businessman and former State House of Assembly candidate, Uko Ekpe; and a Chartered Banker and Financial Advisor, Chief Emmanuel Udoh.

At the maiden meeting were also a former council chairman, Usen Ebong; a renowned medical practitioner, Dr David Umoessien; and a businessman, Chief Sylvester Ekanem.
