WAFCON victory: Tinubu honours Super Falcons with OON, apartment, $100,000

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Monday, conferred the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) National Honours on Super Falcons players and crew.
This was in recognition of their victory in Saturday’s 2024 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations final.
He also allocated a three-bedroom apartment each at the Renewed Hope Estate. He gave $100,000 each to Super Falcons players.
Additionally, he provided $50,000 to the technical crew.
