The Executive Chairman of Uyo Capital City Development Authority (UCCDA), Prince Enobong Uwah, has donated a church building and a house to widow, Mrs Bessie Ben, to commemorate his 52nd birthday.

It was learnt that the widow who hails from Atan Offot in Uyo Local Government Area, was homeless after her house was razed by fire on August 10, 2020.

Martha Emmanuel and wife of Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State, who was represented by Mrs Ime Ephraim Inyangeyen, coordinator of FEYReP, thanked the government for choosing the right people to run the affairs of the state.

She commended Uwah for his benevolence and encouraged the people of Attan Offot to be grateful to God for having a selfless leader in government.

“Prince Enobong Uwah, on behalf of Her Excellency, thank you for showing an example of what a good representative should be,” she said.

In his remark, Uwah applauded the governor for blessing him, adding that it was the blessing that enabled him to extend his kindness to the people.

Uwah also redeemed the pledge he made during his 51st birthday last year by handing a new building to Living Faith Church.

According to Uwah, he built the 250 well-furnished seater capacity church at Atan Offot as a way of appreciating God for blessing and for His faithfulness over the years.

In appreciation, the State Pastor of Living Faith Church, Pastor Triumphant Obamoh, who consecrated the church, thanked Uwah for his generosity, noting that the greatest investment is in God.
