Tinubu attacks Atiku, Obi in Tompolo’s community, Oporoza
*Says Atiku who has been running for too long, should rest
*No be statistics Nigerians go chop
The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Thursday attacked the Presidential Candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar and his Labour Party Candidate, Peter Obi.
Tinubu said that the PDP candidates had been contesting the Presidency for so long that he should now be told to take a rest.
He also made condescending reference to the candidate of a political party who he accused of doling out fake statistics.
He said the particular candidate thinks that it is statistics Nigerians will ‘chop.’
“There are few of them that are also running. One says he is Atiku, how many times has he been running? He is always on the run. People should tell him to go and rest.
“The other one… that one, he thinks na statistics we go chop. He lies with arithmetic that no Indian can solve.
“To mention his name is a disgrace.
Wrong arithmetic, wrong statistics, wrong mathematics…
“You need honesty, the man who knows the road. That is me.”
Tinubu promised to work towards the completion and operationalization of deep sea ports in the Delta, construction of roads, bridges, the university, the industrial park and other requests from the communities which played the host to him.
“I promise, we won’t be far away from you, we will carry you along, and we will embrace our brothers here for the development of the kingdom.
“A renewed hope is here standing before you. I promise with the support of God that will live long, you will live with prosperity.
“Please pay attention to the destruction of pipelines, vandalization of petroleum facility. People are leaking gas, that is dangerous. Let us make that improvement and you will see what we will do.”
Tinubu reminded his hosts that he is a son in-law to Delta State and the people having been duly married to woman of Itsekiri extraction in the region and met all the requisite traditional rites.
