Teargas canisters fired as River’s lawmakers run helter-skelter
The crisis in the Rivers State House of Assembly took a different turn this morning with security men firing teargas canisters as lawmakers ran in every direction for safety.
Last night, a section of the assembly complex was burnt by yet to be identified persons to disrupt plans by the lawmakers to impeach the governor.
It is alleged that Governor Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, are currently at loggerheads over the governance of the state.
These people should not set this country on fire!

This morning, the lawmakers gathered to vote for the removal of the House leader, Edison Ehie who is said to be a close ally of Fubara. The governor also stormed the Assembly Complex with some of his aides.
