So-Safe nabs suspected robber terrorising Olambe Community in Ogun

The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps, codenamed So-Safe Corps at about 0530hrs on Tuesday, 15 August, 2023 apprehended a notorious robbery syndicate, who on several occasions escaped arrest and sometimes left injury on law enforcement agents in the cause of arresting him.
A statement issued from the Office of the State Commander of the Corps, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo through the office of the Director of Information and Public Relations of the Corps, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf said that the culprit, Micheal Olanrewaju, 26 years old and resident of Abattoir (Oju-irin), Lagos State who is popularly called ‘Skendu’ is known for snatching and stealing of motorbike and generator in Ogun State and after successfully perpetrating the crime, escaped to Lagos State.
Ganzallo noted that Skendu as popularly called was sighted by the corps undercover officers attached to Agbado/Oke-Aro/Ibaragun Area Command under the Assistant Commander of Corps Akeem Olaiya.
During preliminary investigation, the culprit confessed that he specialised in snatching and stealing motorbikes and generators in Olambe Communities and its environs in Ifo Local Government Area.
He noted that the suspect has been transferred to the Nigeria Police, Ajuwon Divisional Police Headquarters for further investigation and likely prosecution.
