Slim Joe, Nigerian singer, dies at 30 following struggle with kidney disease
A Nigerian singer, usually known as Slim Joe, but real name – Joshua Olonitan, has died at the age of 30.
It was learnt that after a long struggle with kidney disease, the ‘O ti Yanyan’ singer allegedly died on Sunday, January 2, 2022.
Raymond Gbaji, a colleague, verified Olonitan’s death on Facebook, where he wrote a moving homage to him.
The multi-talented entertainer, who is from Odo-Ayedun in Ekiti State’s Ikole Local Government Area, has been on dialysis for a while after being diagnosed with renal failure.
