Sanwo-Olu refutes Appointing MC Oluomo GM of Lagos Transport Parks
Lagos State governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has denied appointing MC Oluomo as General Manager of the Lagos Transport Parks.
According to reports the governor also denied reports of the purported appointment of Musiliu Akinsanya, a.k.a MC Oluomo, as the GM of Lagos State Transportation Parks and Garages Management Committee.
It would be recalled that reports emerged on Thursday that the state government had appointed Oluomo to manage the parks, hours after his suspension by the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).
But in a statement on Friday, Gboyega Akosile, the chief press secretary to the Lagos State governor, said the news was false and should be disregarded.
According to Akosile, “Please disregard post(s) claiming that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has appointed suspended Chairman of NURTW, MC Oluomo as GM, Lagos Transport Parks and garages committee. There’s no such appointment.
“The statement issued yesterday by Mr Gbenga Omotoso, Hon Commissioner for Information and Strategy, remains the position of government. “
