Retired air vice-marshal shot dead in Kaduna
Police in Kaduna have confirmed the killing of retired air vice-marshal Muhammad Maisaka at his residence in Ragasi, Igabi Local Government Area of the state.
The command’s spokesman Muhammad Jalige told the News Agency of Nigeria that Maisaka was killed in an early Tuesday attack, adding that the gateman sustained injuries from the incident.
The commissioner of police Mudassiru Abdullah directed the divisional police officer and the area commander to the scene, Mr Jalige said.
“The corpse has been evacuated to the hospital and the gateman has also been rushed to the hospital for treatment,” he added.
Jalige appealed to Kaduna residents to provide the police with useful and timely information that could lead to the arrest of the culprits.
