Police arrest six over Ebutte Meta attacks

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested six suspected hoodlums who attacked innocent Lagosians and damaged some vehicles along Ondo Street, Ebutte-Meta, Lagos, on Tuesday.
The hoodlums were said to have trooped out in their numbers around 9.30pm and started fomenting troubles in the area.
The Police Public Relations Officer in Lagos State, SP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said the police chased and arrested some of the hoodlums while responding to distress calls from innocent people citizens.
He listed those arrested to include Qudus Oke ‘m’ 22; Abdullahi Ajose ‘m’, 25; Kayi Ajayi ‘m’, 33; Micheal Ben ‘m’ 27; Godwin Joseph ‘m’, 25, and Oluwasegun Akinlade ‘m’ 29 years old.
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has vowed to get Lagos rid of hoodlums, hooliganism, gangsterism, cultism and other social vices as all hands are on deck in the command to resist any act capable of jeopardising security networking of the state and causing pains and agonies to Lagosians during the ember months and beyond.
