Man confesses to being responsible for mother-in-law abduction
The operatives of Ekiti State Police Command have arrested one Bunmi Ogunremi, 49 for carrying out many kidnappings including that of his own mother-in-law.
Ogunremi also known as Bunmi Bafon, from Ado-Ekiti, was arrested by the police alongside their food supplier and a vulcanizer who is their informant.
While confessing to the crime, the suspects revealed that they were the criminals who kidnapped a major oil trader, Alhaji Sulaimon Akinbami in Ureje, Ado-Ekiti, the capital of Ekiti State, as well as other numerous kidnappings in Ekiti and across Ondo State. When questioned, Ogunremi, from Ado, confessed to kidnapping his own mother-in-law. He said, “The first job I did was Akinbami who owns a gas station. The second is a woman. The third was in Akure. The fourth was my mother-in-law.”
