Ita Enang thanks President Buhari for establishing specialised university in A’Ibom

Senior Special Assistant to President on Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Ita Enang, has thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for establishing a university of technology in Akwa Ibom State.
Enang, who captions his gratitude as “Immeasurable thanks and appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari and APC Federal Government,” added that the entire people of Akwa Ibom State and South South region, also show their appreciations for the gesture.
“On behalf of the leaders and people of Akwa Ibom State, South-South geopolitical zone and indeed the entire Niger Delta Region of Nigeria, we express our immeasurable and profound thanks and appreciation to His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, for approving the establishment of the FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, AKWA IBOM STATE, among other specialised universities in Nigeria.
“We express our profound gratitude to the Hon. Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu for his large heart and fairness in the processing of the matter to include Akwa Ibom and South South and to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Arch. Echonu and the staffers. We appreciate your bureaucratic dexterity, and bearing with all, even in the odds.
“This gesture of Mr President and indeed the Federal Government has increased federal tertiary educational institutions presence in Akwa Ibom State in addition to the state’s tertiary institutions, all as hereunder listed has greatly increased the carrying capacity of educational institutions which will take our children hitherto deprived of admissions because of “NO VACANCY” or “QUOTA” or carrying capacity out of deprivation from high cut-off marks from home to universities in time. Again, thank you Mr. President.
“To enable all appreciate the weight of this favour, we list hereunder the Federal Tertiary Institutions already in the state: University of Uyo, Uyo; Federal Polytechnic, Ukana, Essien Udim, and Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron,” Enang said in a statement made available to CitizenDiary on June 23, 2021.
According to him, despite the above favour, His Excellency Mr. President still deemed it appropriate to favour the state with this new Federal University of Technology. “Thank you, Mr President,” he said.
Enang said the APC-led Federal Government has demonstrated that after election, governance is delivered to all persons of all persuasions as citizens and constituents of the Federal Republic.
The SSA also congratulated the governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Governor Udom Emmanuel, saying that it is in his tenure that a fresh Federal University of Technology was approved by the Buhari-led Federal Government for Akwa Ibom State.
“This draws us and all closer to each other in delivering on our mandate to the people.
“AKWA IBOM, yak ikoom President Buhari ke se anye Anam ami ino nnyin, inyung ibong eti akam ino anye ye akamba Ukara Nigeria. Amen! “Thank You President Buhari and your dedicated team,” he said.
