Emmanuel swears-in 3rd female Chief Judge

Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State has swon-in Justice Ekaette Obot as Acting Chief Judge of the state, detailing her to ensure speedy dispensation of justice.
The governor while performing the swearing-in at the Executive Council Chamber of the Governor’s Office, Uyo, urged her to ensure improved service delivery in the judiciary.
Emmanuel, who acknowledged that the autonomy of the judiciary in the state has never been an issue, assured the judiciary of his continued support.
With the oaths of office and allegiance, Justice Ekaette Obot becomes the 3rd female Chief Judge of the state and takes over from Justice Godwin Abraham who retired recently from service.
