Ekweremadu to remain in UK custody for organ harvesting

The court has ruled that former Deputy Senator President, Ike Ekweremadu remain in detention with the UK authority over the alleged case of organ harvesting.

TheCable reports that the Central Criminal Court in the UK has adjourned the case to October 31, 2022.

Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice are facing charges bordering on conspiracy to arrange/facilitate the travel of another person with a view to exploitation, namely organ harvesting.

While Beatrice was released on bail a few weeks back, the court said Ekweremadu must be in custody.
