Buhari postpones London medical trip

President Muhammadu Buhari has Buhari postpones London medical trippostponed his medical visit to the United Kingdom earlier scheduled on Friday, June 25, 2021.

The president’s spokesman, Femi Adesina announced this in a statement on Friday.

Adesina had in a release on Thursday stated that President Buhari would travel to London, the United Kingdom on Friday, June 25, 2021, for a scheduled medical follow-up.

Adesina in the brief statement said that the president would be due back in the country during the second week of July 2021.

Adesina, however, in another statement on Friday noted, “The medical follow-up visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to United Kingdom earlier scheduled for today, Friday, June 25, 2021, has been postponed.

“A new date will be announced in due course.”
