Bandits free 35 victims in Kaduna, hold one
Bandits have freed 35 persons they abducted three weeks ago at Keke B Millennium City, Kaduna State but still held one person captive.
It would be recalled that gunmen suspected to be bandits on Monday, 25 July 2022, kidnapped 35 people from Kaduna Millennium City.
It was learnt that no information was received about the victims, relatives were said to be making frantic moves to reach out to their captors.
Out of 36 being kidnapped, 35 victims were released on Saturday.
A resident in the community, Mr Jonathan Yusuf, who spoke to DAILY POST said that one person is still in their captivity because the bandits insisted that his family must produce two motorcycles before he regained freedom.
However, a community leader who pleaded for anonymity said that N2.5m was paid for the release of the victims.
