Baba Ijesha bail: Princess breaks silence, says, ‘I’ll win’

Nigerian comedienne cum actress Damilola Adekoya, often referred to as Princess, has reacted to report that Olanrewaju James (Baba Ijesha), who allegedly defiled her foster daughter, has been granted bail by the police.
The actor was granted bail by the Lagos State Police Command on Monday evening on health ground.
Reacting to the bail granted to Baba Ijesha, the actress on her Instagram page said she was confident that she would defeat Baba Ijesha, though not immediately, definitely.
“I will win, not immediately but definitely,” she wrote, putting her trust for justice in God.
According to Princess, God does not as well as loved children.
“Say no to child defilement, say no to rape and say something if you see something,” she added.
Baba Ijesha who was granted bail on Monday, May 17, 2021, was arrested by the police more than a month ago on allegation of child defilement.
His health has deteriorated in detention as he has not yet been arraigned over the alleged defilement.
His lawyer, Adesina Ogunlana confirmed on Monday that the actor has been released by the police on bail.
According to him, Baba Ijesha was granted bail on Monday evening.
Ogunlana stated that the actor was granted bail on health grounds, adding that he would be released as soon as he met the bail conditions.
