A’Ibom NCoS gets new spokesman

The Nigerian Correctional Service has appointed a new Command Public Relations Officer for the Service in the State. He is ASC. Richard Metong.

According to a press release issued on Monday, April 11, 2022, in Uyo, by the out-going CPRO, DSC. Ogbajie Ogbajie, the new image-maker of the service in the state, ASC Richard Metong, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language from the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State and was enlisted into the service in the year 2019.

The statement added that the new command spokesman attended the 22nd ASC basic course at the Nigerian Correctional Service Training College, Kirikiri Lagos state and until his appointment as the Command Spokesperson, he was a non-custodial officer in Ikot Abasi local government area.

While handing over to the new CPRO, DSC Ogbajie Ogbajie appreciated and commended the Controller of Corrections, officers and men of the Nigerian Correctional Service Akwa Ibom State Command for the support and cooperation he enjoyed during his time as the image-maker of the Service in Akwa Ibom state.

He urged the general public especially the media to support the new spokesman to enable him to discharge his duties efficiently and diligently.
