Police chief visits appeal justice, inspects new station project
The Commissioner of Police, Akwa Ibom State Command, Baba Mohammed Azare, has paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Justice Ntong Ntong of the Court of Appeal at his residence.
The visit was aimed at strengthening institutional collaboration, fostering mutual understanding, and exploring strategies to further enhance the relationship between the Nigeria Police Force and the judiciary. The engagement highlighted the importance of synergy between both institutions in the effective administration of justice and the maintenance of law and order across the state.

During the interaction, Azare reaffirmed the command’s commitment to upholding the rule of law, respecting judicial processes, and ensuring that policing activities remain aligned with constitutional provisions and judicial expectations.
Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Timfon John, on Tuesday, said as part of his engagements, the commissioner also inspected an ongoing police station building project within the area. He expressed satisfaction with the progress made and emphasised the importance of improved infrastructure in boosting operational efficiency and enhancing service delivery to the public.
The command reiterated its commitment to strengthening partnerships with key stakeholders while ensuring the safety and security of all residents in Akwa Ibom State.
