Lagos health commissioner resumes work

The Commissioner for Health, Lagos State, Prof Akin Abayomi has resumed his duty as deputy incident commander after recovering from COVID-19.

Abayomi, who was seen at work on Thursday, was said to have stopped briefly at the office of the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso to thank him, according to a tweet by his ministry on Thursday.

“Looking refreshed & fit, @ProfAkinAbayomi quickly paid a thank you visit to the Commissioner for Information & Strategy @gbenga_omo whose office is in the same building as his.

“The visibly elated @gbenga_omo who welcomed @ProfAkinAbayomi back to work thanked him for his sacrifices,” the ministry said.
