BREAKING: Buhari extends IGP’s tenure by three months

President Muhammadu Buhari has extended the tenure of Mohammed Adamu as the Inspector General of Police (IGP) by three months.
The Minister of Police Affairs, Mohammad Dingyadi, confirmed this to state house correspondents on Thursday at the presidential villa, Abuja.
He noted that the extension is aimed at allowing for smooth process in appointing a new IGP.
