So-Safe arrests middle-aged man for shooting one dead in Ogun

The Special arm of Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps, (So-Safe Corps), has arrested a robbery suspect, who shot and killed one person while other victims sustained various degrees of injuries in Arepo/Fadunsi, Ijoko in the Ifo Local Government Area.
According to a press release issued from the Office of the State Commander, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo through the Office of the Director of Information and Public Relations of the Corps said that at about 2000hrs on Sunday,11th December 2022, the patrol team of Arepo Division of the Corps under Ifo 2 Area Command headed by ACC Ajayi Amos apprehended a middle-aged man, Mr Joseph Michael for allegedly shooting one Mr. kudus popularly called ‘Alfa’ dead while two (victims) of the brutal attack are receiving treatment in the hospital.
Ganzallo said: “The So-Safe Corps personnel gave the culprit a hot chase after he had allegedly committed the crime and was captured alive while the rest members of the gang escaped on three motorbikes.
“The corps is making effort to get arrested other gang members who escaped with the gun used to perpetrate the crime.”
The commander stressed that the apprehended robbery suspect had been transferred to the Nigeria Police Lemode Divisional Police Headquarters for further investigation and likely prosecution.
