Nigeria’s U-17 women’s national team, the Flamingos, beat the USA side in the Friday quarter-finals of the ongoing India 2022 U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The Flamingos defeated the US on a penalty to reach the semi-final.
After a 1-1 draw, the Nigerian women’s team beat their US opponent 4-3.
