Man, who trekked for Buhari 2015 election victory develops limb pains

One Dahiru Buba, who trekked from Gombe to Abuja for kilometres to celebrate Muhammadu Buhari’s victory at the 2015 presidential election has developed acute limb pains.
The journey took Buba, a native of Dukku Local Government Area of Gombe State 15 days to reach Abuja.
Buba, who expected rewards then, stated that his effort only earned him a certificate, when the present caretaker chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State, was the party’s national secretary.
The distance trekker asked Gombe State Governor Inuwa Yahaya and the party’s stakeholders to assist him.
He said: “Since the time I conducted the trekking, the limb pain is growing by the day.
“I am appealing to my governor, Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State and the party leadership to help me look for medical assistance.”
He added that he has not been able to work to pay his children’s school fees or support his family with feedings.
