The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has dissolved his entire cabinet.
The state executive council has been dissolved by the fiery governor, and it takes effect immediately.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor and Senior Special Assistant (Protocol) have also been relieved of their duties, according to a statement issued by Kelvin Ebiri, Wike’s special assistant on media.
The statement read: “Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike commends the members of the Rivers State Executive Council for their dedication and contribution to the state’s growth.
“As a result, Governor Wike has directed all previous State Executive Council members to give over to the most senior officers in their respective ministries.”
The governor, however, wished them luck in all of their future endeavours.
