Three feared killed in rival cult clash

Three persons were reportedly killed when two rival cults in Abraka community of Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State clashed in a supremacy fight.
The cultists were said to have brandished deadly weapons like cutlasses, guns, and sticks during the fracas.
A source, who remained anonymous because of fear of a possible attack, said apart from those killed, many people were wounded in the fight on Tuesday night.
The cause of the clash has yet to be known as of the time of filing this report.
The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, confirmed the incident.
She said the clash was between the Eiye and Black Axe confraternities in the University Community.
According to her, she has yet to be briefed fully on the issue, adding that she gets hold of the details, she would reach out to the press.
