Those in charge of fighting B’Haram stole $2.1bn – Buhari

*Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has said that those in charge of fighting Boko Haram terrorists in Nigeria shared the $2.1bn that the Federal Government earmarked for fighting terrorism in Nigeria.

Speaking in an interview with CNN, the president said that the fund was meant for buying military hardware and software.

This revelation is coming amid ambassadorial appointment for all Nigeria’s ex-service chiefs, who the president lauded for having performed well.

It is therefore not clear who the president was referring to as those in charge of fighting terrorism in Nigeria, who decided to share the money voted for the war.

Buhari, however, kept mute about what was done to the people that stole the money in the interview.
