So-Safe recovers stolen motorbike, suspects escape arrest in Ogun

…begins operation to apprehend suspects

Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) has recovered a Bajaj Motorbike suspected to be stolen by hoodlums in the state.

It was learnt that the Isheri /Akute /Ajuwon Area Corps’ Command Officers headed by ACC Ige Olurotimi while on routine patrol at Alagbole, Ajuwon in the Ifo Local Government Area saw some men pushing a Red Boxer Bajaj motorbike.

They were said to have intercepted the process when the men pushing the motorbike with number plate JGB 053 VC around 3 am on Friday, 2 December 2022, took to their heels.

This was contained in a statement issued from the Office of the State Commander of So-Safe Corps, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo through the office of the Director of Information and Public Relations of the agency, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf, on Tuesday.

“Seeing the men of the So-Safe coming off their motorcycle, they took to their heels and left the motorbike suspected to have been stolen behind.

“All effort to get them apprehended proved abortive but men of the corps have been charged to ensure their speedy apprehension,” Ganzallo said.

Meanwhile, the recovered motorcycle has been transferred to the custody of the Nigeria Police – Ajuwon Divisional Headquarter for further investigation and onward handing over of the motorbike to the owner in case he/she shows up.
