Unknown gunmen early Thursday killed a policeman and raided the residence of former governor of Bayelsa State, Seriake Dickson in Sagbama Local Government Area of the state.
The hoodlums were said to got the access to the building through Forcados River on Wednesday night.
It was learnt that Dickson and his family were not in the compound during the attack.
Bayelsa State Police Command said it would release a statement concerning the incident later on Thursday.
