Pandemonium as hoodlums attack #ENDSARS protesters in Abuja

There was Panic in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja on Monday as suspected hoodlums attacked #ENDSARS protesters.

The attack was said to have happened in front of the Central Bank of Nigeria; many vehicles were vandalized during the process while innocent protesters were injured.

The hoodlums brandished sticks and machetes, and chased the protesters, who ran for safety in different directions.

The situation was said to have been chaotic which resulted in heavy traffic along the Dutse-Gwarinpa Express.

However, a few minutes later, the protesters regrouped and managed to repel some persons who also attacked them with crude weapons.

The protest, which has entered its 10th day across the country have been massive, with many youths attending daily.

The protest has also caused a decline in business activities with many businesses closing.

Vehicular movements have also been reported to be on standstill, as major roads and streets were blocked.
