The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA has rescued a woman who was injured when a Nissan Coaster bus collided on a faulty articulator truck at Maryland, Lagos State.
This was contained in a statement from Head, Public Affairs, LASEMA, Nosa Okunbor, on Saturday.
Situation report emanating from Office of the DG/CEO LASEMA, Dr. Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osanyintolu on the road accident at Idi-Iroko inward Maryland has it that: “Upon arrival at the scene of the incident, an accident involving a Nissan Coaster bus with number plate GGE-901XZ and an articulated truck with number plate KMC-379XV was encountered.
“Information gathered revealed that the truck had a mechanical fault and rammed into the culvert, while the coaster bus ran into the truck from behind and fell sideways thereby shutting down vehicular movement.
“Fortunately, there was no loss of life, however, an adult female sustained injuries and has been treated.
“Recovery operation was completed utilizing the Agency’s heavy-duty equipment, the Super Metro.
