The Lagos State Government announced over the weekend that it will organise a mass burial for murdered ENDSARS protesters. They had repeatedly denied the existence of this fact all along.

Coordinator, Akwa Ibom Human Rights Community of the Electricity Consumers Forum, Clifford Thomas, Esq, said this in a statement in Uyo, on Monday.

According to him, the CSOs are not quiet about the matter.

The statement read: “CSOs are not quiet. They are overwhelmed by the conspiracy of the governments involved in the well-rehearsed pogrom of the harmless youth of Nigeria who came out in their numbers to draw global attention to the suffocating force of the Nigerian Police Force, and in particular, SARS.

“Now that the Federal and Lagos State governments have confessed to the unlawful murder of Nigerian youths without war, they should tell us the actual number of youths murdered; their identities; those who murdered them; forensic details of weapons used in killing them; plans for monetary compensation to their families, and more.”

The statement added that those and others should form the new lines of agitations by CSOs in Nigeria over the MURDER OF YOUTHS PROTESTING AGAINST THE BRUTALITY THE POLICE FORCE!
