Senator Dino Melaye has denied buying a car for his 11 years old daughter, Gbotemi. But the girl sitting on the bonnet of a Lamborghini car, is said to be Mary Melaye.
The senator, who did not only deny the post on his Twitter page on Tuesday, added that he has no such daughter as Mary.
Melaye also dissociated himself from an Instagram account which Mary Melaye appears, and described it as fake.
He said in his twitter account: “I have no daughter called Mary and the Instagram account with the name Mary Melaye is fake. How can any responsible Father buy even a KIA Rio for a child @ 11. Dino matter dey sweet una to lie sha.”
An impostor had commented severally on Melaye’s Instagram posts on Sunday acknowledging his messages to his daughter on her 11th birthday. The Instagram user also led the public to believe one of the sons of Melaye had joined the photo-sharing platform.
