Popular preacher and founder of Latter Rain Assembly, now Citadel Global Church, Pastor Tunde Bakare has set the Internet on fire for saying that he is destined to be President Muhammadu Buhari’s successor in 2023.
Bakare, who maintains that destiny has bestowed on him the right to be president, added that it will be foolhardy for him to hide the matter under the umbrella of one finger and make ambition look as though it were a vision.
“There is something called destiny. I am not one to hide under the umbrella of one finger and make ambition look like vision, I do not camouflage.
“It is not a matter of life and death, but you can write it down. As the Lord lives, and as I am given the opportunity, the day will come, like Joe Biden, that I will be the President of Nigeria,” he said. Bakare was Buhari’s running mate in the 2011 presidential election, is now hopeful of his ambition coming through in 2023. The lawyer turned preacher revealed this in an interview recently.
