Amid ongoing economic hardship, Pay TV firm MultiChoice Nigeria has announced an upward review in the bouquet prices of DStv and GOtv for the third time in 2023.
Sources at MultiChoice who pleaded anonymity confirmed the increase to TruetellsNigeria.
The source said that the new bouquet price will take effect from November 6.
The latest increase, which is about a 17 per cent increase, will have GOtv subscribers pay N12,500 for the Supa+ package, the highest subscription price as against the N10,500 which it initially cost.
DStv subscribers will also pay N29,500 as against the N24,500 the company earlier charged premium subscribers.
The latest increase comes as Nigerians continue to battle the ripple effect of fuel subsidy removal and the weakening value of the country’s currency at the FX market.
