A Deeper Life Pastor, Otamayomi Ogedengbe, who was abducted in Irese in the Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State, has been released by his abductors.
The Nation reports that Pastor Ogedengbe was kidnapped on Monday evening after conducting a Bible Study at the Irese area of Akure.
His wife, Yinka, said the kidnappers shot into the air before whisking him away.
It was also gathered that the pastor’s abductors had demanded a ransom of N30m to free him.
According to TVC news, the pastor’s release was confirmed by a female member of the Deeper Life church who preferred to be anonymous.
The source said: “The church had been praying fervently since the incident occurred and they were overjoyed to learn of the Pastor’s release by his kidnappers.”
