The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, Abiodun Alabi, has cautioned officers and men of the command against smearing his hard-earned reputation by their unprofessional conducts.
The CP issued the warning while addressing Heads of Departments and Sectional Heads in the Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) at the Command’s Headquarters, Ikeja.
Alabi also talked to the Heads of Investigation Sections about detention of suspects in their custody, adding that they must dispense with criminal cases quickly.
Similarly, he asked administrative office personnel and others to always manage information effectively and be guided by the oath of secrecy when handling official correspondence and other matters.
In what seemed a piece of fatherly advice, Alabi asked the personnel not to work at cross purposes but to ensure inter-departmental and inter-sectional harmony.
