The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps, on Monday, 28th November 2022 around 4 pm recovered some stolen items from an escaped robbery syndicate.
As contained in a press release on Tuesday issued from the Office of the State Commander of So-Safe Corps, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo through the office of the Director of Information and Public Relations of the Corps, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf, said the So-Safe officers on routine patrol from Gasline area up to Arobieye in the Ado Odo Ota Local Government Area, chased a group of armed robbers.
“The robbery syndicate escaped arrest but the Mupin Division in conjunction with Agbara Area Command Officers under the supervision of Assistant Commander Lukmon Adebesin were able to recover the following items brand new red Boxer Bajaj with number plate TRE 231 VT, chassis number XMD2A18AX8NWC13064, and engine number DUXWNC25679,” Ganzallo said.
He added that one locally-made rifle, charms, engine oil, clothes, slippers and Five Alive beverage.
According to Ganzallo, the items so far recovered had been to Onipanu Divisional Police Headquarters for further investigation.
