President Muhammadu Buhari has alleged that the #EndSARS protesters principal aim was to remove him as Nigeria’s president when the youths remonstrated against police brutality in the country last year.
Speaking during the Arise TV on Thursday morning, Buhari blamed the protests on the dwindling inflow of foreign direct investment to Nigeria.
According to him, all those who took part in the protests, have made the country unattractive to investors.
Asked how he could improve foreign direct investment (FDI) to the country, Buhari posited that the question had been answered a year ago during the #EndSARS protests.
He noted: “This question was answered last year when there was the #EndSARS protest last year. You remember the young people that wanted to march here and remove me?”
“Tell the young people to behave themselves and make the country safe, then we can attract real investors to the country”.
