The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta.
Tinubu arrived at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, OOPL, in the Ogun State capital at about 1.10 pm and went straight into a closed-door meeting with the former president.
Tinubu was accompanied by the House of Representatives Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila, former APC interim chairman, Chief Bisi Akande, and former Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.
The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun and two of his predecessors, Chief Olusegun Osoba and Otunba Gbenga Daniel, were also in attendance.
The scene was said to be a sort of carnival at the Obasanjo’s residence as thousands of APC members stormed the premises singing, dancing, and drumming.
