Unknown gunmen around 7pm abducted passengers who were travelling in a bus through East-West road on Wednesday.
The hoodlums were said to have ambushed the passengers around Ekeravwhen junction after continuous gunshots.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onowakpoyeya, confirmed the abduction of the passengers on Thursday but said efforts are being intensified to rescue the passengers and get the suspects arrested.
